| Sometimes folks ask about the work involved in doing the leather work. All of our items are hand cut, hand carved and stamped from premium Wickett & Craig leather. Dyes, oils and finishes are applied by hand sometimes using the tiniest of brushes. The stamps are small and are tapped with the maul one set at a time. All of the edges get careful hand burnishing to give a slick and polished shine. Some of the items are machine stitched and others are done completely by hand using a two needle sewing procedure.
